Rabbit Holes

When you decide you want to learn to play, there are a lot of options available. With the internet and YouTube, you can learn almost anything, for free! So why pay for a course or take lessons?

The answer is rabbit holes!

I have known many students who try to “self-serve” by jumping around on the internet to find whatever they think they should learn next.

And there is the problem. Most people don’t really know what they don’t know. They think they should learn “this” when really, they would be better off learning “that” first. They bounce around the internet and learn a little here and a little there. They fall into rabbit holes, and sometime take months to realize that direction wasn’t going anywhere. In some cases, years can go by before they realize they haven’t gone anywhere.

I would propose that your time would be better spent pursuing clear steps that lead to the achievement of a clear goal.

When you sign up for one of our courses, there is a very clear goal. And the course provides a structure to get you there. And with a goal and a plan, you will be there before you realize what happened. In our courses, you have a clear view of where you are at relative to your goal and can check your progress at a glance!

So, fifty or thirty bucks might sound like a lot compared to free on the internet, but what is that compared to weeks, months or even years wasted trying to get where you want to go?
